| Notes | I really like this wine and found it a nice wine to enjoy with a nice piece of dark chocolatey cake! I bought it because of the winery - Red Sky Ranch won our 2006 best wine of the year event in December 2006. And, luckily the description on the bottle is perfectly correct - "A classic blend of five Bordeaux style varietals. The rich flavors of crushed blackberries, mocha, and a touch of spice fold into the lasting and memorable finish." This dry red and berry-rich wine had the richness of a Zinfandel - my personal favorite. However, it is so rich, that it is difficult to drink more than one glass in a sitting.
For anyone wondering - the five varietals included in this wine are: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon 26% Merlot 4% Cabernet Franc 3% Malbec 2% Petite Verdot |

Made for chocolate
I'm a big fan of this wine. The key for me was holding the sip as long as possible - letting it transform and change into interesting new flavors. Immediately following don't hesitate to bit into a big brownie or dark chocolate bar
