The other week we went down to Wine Merchants Gourmet for a tasting of one of our favorite "stand-by" wine vineyards - Rosenblum. We had visited Rosenblum vineyards on our last trip to CA, and were quite surprised. The facility we visited was right on the harbor in the Bay Area, with no vines or dirt in sight. It was kinda cool being able to sip wine and chat with the Rosenblum people (who splurged and gave us some yummy cheeses to try along with a glass of their Rockpile Zinfandel ($50 bottle)).
Without further ado, here's the tasting list and prices:

What we bought!
When we were in Alameda, CA, at the winery back in July, we bought the Chateau La Paws White 2006 which they described as:
"This lovely wine shows refreshing pear, melon and mango in the bouquet, followed by flavors of apple, peach and creamy vanilla."
But the best part for me is that Rosenblum's Chateau La Paws donates $6 per case to a national charity, Paws With A Cause. The charity trains service dogs for people with special needs. It's nice to know that the winery gives back to a cause. Love it!!
